The Gaza Masterplan Lectures in Slovenia

On the 78th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba 1948, I was invited by the Museum of Architecture in Ljublijana and by Premorska University in Koper, (both in Slovenia) to speak about The Architecture of Memory and the Preservation of Heritage,

it seemed to be the ideal opportunity for me to launch my Gaza Master Plan which I had started to develop back in January 2024 soon after the Genocide on Gaza was launched by the Israeli military.

It was to be a unique opportunity for me to speak not only about The Reconstruction of Memory (The Gaza Master Plan), but also about The Preservation of Memory (The Palestinian village of Lifta near Jerusalem).

The two Slovenian faculties welcomed the idea and the dates were set for the 14thand the 15th of May this year: the 78th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba.

The two lecture halls were packed and the reception was overwhelming. In presenting the Master Plan here (see link below), I am offering an opportunity for all those around the globe to comment and express their opinions.
